Woolly Weekend 2019 –

Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th, June,

10am- 4pm at the Weavers’ Workshop,

Dilham, NR28 9PT


  • Sheep-shearing demos
  • Crochet, knitting, spinning, weaving, felting, sewing, dyeing & other rural crafts: demos and “have a go”
  • Alpacas & Donkeys to pet and feed
  • Folk singers & Morris Dancers to watch
  • Scrumptious home-made refreshments
  • Tombola and Side Stalls
  • Sheepdog demos
  • Green woodworking
  • To BUY : fleece, yarn, fabric, equipment, gifts, books

Very happy to announce that Dig In of Aylsham will be providing the refreshments at the Woolly Weekend – so many yummy temptations to choose between.


For your entertainment during the weekend, we have on Saturday Folk Music and on Sunday  The Occasional Ceilidh Band will be playing for us, followed by  Morris Dancing.

Throughout the weekend we will have rabbits and alpacas, and of course sheep…. with sheep shearing demonstrations.

Plenty of fleeces will be available to buy, and there will be an opportunity to choose a fleece straight from the sheep!!!

On Saturday only we will be joined again by the Miniature Donkeys from

                    Miniature Donkeys for Wellbeing

As well as our many woolly exhibitors and  demonstators we are pleased to welcome again the Norfolk Bodgers to the Woolly Weekend.


Just heard that the Crafty Cupboard will be joining us at the Woolly Weekend with lots of sheep themed goodies.

We are happy  to welcome Adelaide Walker to the Woolly Weekend again this year.
